Mr. Cohn has a wide variety of experience in the architectural field. He has been practicing architecture for over 40 years and founded the firm of Cohn + Associates in 1987.
His experience includes all phases of architectural practice from programming and planning to construction observation and administration in both the public and private sectors.
As the principal architect of Cohn + Associates, he is responsible for directing all phases of a project including design, construction document preparation, and construction follow through.
Mr. Cohn's past experience includes work on both new construction and renovation/alteration projects. Project types include single family homes, multi-family residential, hotels, retail, office, tenant improvements and warehouse/industrial.
His background includes planning and design of hotel conference centers, retirement communities and apartment complexes.
Mr. Cohn's previous work history includes time spent in the Chicago area working for the prestigious firms of Skidmore, Ownings & Merrill and Charles Kober & Associates. In Southern California he has worked for a variety of medium to small firms including Robert Barnett in Beverly Hills and Sillman/Wyman, Inc. in San Diego.
